Revelations 22:1-2 "Then he showed me the river of the water of life, bright has a crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."
In Genesis, because Eve and Adam ate the fruit of the tree which they had been commanded not to eat, they became separated from God. In Revelations, the tree of life provides a healing. We are filled with hope for the day when we can stand before the throne of God, singing "Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!
